ZR Talent Group is recruiting a qualified Remote U.S. Licensed Attorney — AI Legal Case & Brief Evaluation for a 100% remote contract opportunity ($100 - $170/hour) open to candidates across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa. In this specialist engagement, you will collaborate with advanced AI research teams to design domain-specific evaluation scenarios, audit complex model reasoning, and establish gold-standard reference solutions in legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, document review.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Evaluate complex legal fact patterns spanning litigation, corporate transactions, and regulatory or compliance matters to spot dispositive issues, statutory risks, and controlling legal doctrine.
• Audit model-drafted legal memoranda, briefs, and transactional agreements for doctrinal precision, thoroughness, and persuasive logic.
• Pinpoint misstatements of law, unsupported inferences, omitted material facts, and logical gaps in automated legal drafts.
• Exercise seasoned legal judgment across ambiguous fact patterns by weighing statutory authority, precedent, and counterarguments.
• Deliver structured redlines and analytical commentary that directly improve how frontier models handle legal workflows.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• Earned Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active, good-standing bar admission in at least one U.S. state or D.C.
• At least 3+ years of substantive post-J.D. legal practice.
• Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, and document review skills.
• Exceptional written English precision and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-directed work style well-suited for an asynchronous remote contract schedule.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Demonstrated background in any legal practice area, including litigation, corporate, commercial, employment, personal injury, criminal, family, immigration, insurance, intellectual property, healthcare, securities, real estate, tax, privacy, environmental, or regulatory law.
• Experience reviewing complex legal documents, identifying substantive errors, or evaluating competing legal arguments.
• Working knowledge of legal technology, AI-assisted research, or AI evaluation is a plus, but not required.

• Compensation Band: $100 - $170/hour
