ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Labor & Employment Law Counsel — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($100 - $170/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in employment law expertise, legal analysis, legal document review, issue spotting with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.
Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Analyze employment law scenarios to identify key legal issues, assess risks, and apply sound legal judgment.
- Review model-generated legal analyses, arguments, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify legal errors, missing information, and weaknesses in legal reasoning.
- Deliver actionable, well-organized critiques and corrections to improve model-generated outputs.
Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria
- J.D. degree from a U.S. law school.
- Active, good-standing bar admission in at least one U.S. state or D.C.
- At least 3+ years of substantive legal practice, preferably in employment or labor law.
- Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, and document review skills.
- Exceptional written English precision and meticulous attention to detail.
Compensation, Remote Eligibility & Schedule
- Compensation Band: $100 - $170/hour
- Work Model: 100% Remote / Work From Home with flexible asynchronous scheduling
