ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Telugu Transcription Expert — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($10 - $24/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in telugu language proficiency, transcription, linguistic annotation, editing and proofreading with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Transcribe audio, video, and text content from Telugu to written format with exceptional accuracy and attention to linguistic detail.
• Annotate, segment, and label audio data using established guidelines to support AI model development.
• Review and edit existing Telugu transcriptions for clarity, consistency, and correctness.
• Provide cultural and contextual insights to enhance the linguistic authenticity of data sets.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders through effective written and verbal communication channels.
• Meet project milestones by delivering high-quality, timely transcriptions and annotations.
• Identify and report language nuances, challenges, or ambiguities encountered during transcription tasks.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in telugu language proficiency, transcription, linguistic annotation, editing and proofreading.
• Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
• Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu, with excellent command of written and spoken language.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistic data processing (audio, video, or text).
• Meticulous analytical precision, with proven skills in proofreading and editing Telugu content.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Working knowledge of linguistic annotation tools or transcription platforms is an advantage.
