Remote Punjabi Transcription Expert — AI Research & Domain Evaluation

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Punjabi Transcription Expert — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($8 - $15/hour, 100% remote) to join ZR Talent Group. Contributors in this role draw upon real-world mastery of punjabi language proficiency, audio and video transcription, transcription annotation, metadata tagging to evaluate AI-generated deliverables, construct detailed grading rubrics, and guide post-training model alignment.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Transcribe audio and video content in Punjabi with high accuracy and attention to linguistic nuances.
• Annotate transcripts with relevant metadata and speaker identification as required.
• Review and edit existing transcriptions to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
• Provide cultural and contextual insights to enhance the fidelity of language data.
• Collaborate through written and verbal communication to clarify project requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Deliver completed transcription assignments within established project timelines and guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in punjabi language proficiency, audio and video transcription, transcription annotation, metadata tagging.
• Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
• Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi, with strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proven experience in transcription or language annotation, particularly for Punjabi content.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate linguistic nuances and cultural specifics.
• Working knowledge of transcription tools and platforms is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accuracy in all deliverables.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
