ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Urdu Transcription Expert — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($10 - $22/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in urdu language proficiency, audio and video transcription, linguistic annotation, attention to detail with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Transcribe audio and video content in Urdu with exceptional accuracy and attention to linguistic nuances.
• Review and refine existing Urdu transcriptions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and fidelity to spoken content.
• Annotate transcripts with relevant metadata and speaker details as required by project guidelines.
• Collaborate remotely with fellow linguistic experts and project managers to address queries and improve processes.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Urdu grammar, spelling, and colloquial expressions to deliver polished transcripts.
• Maintain a high standard of written and verbal communication throughout all project interactions.
• Meet deliverable quality standards and align with project timelines for submission of transcription tasks.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in urdu language proficiency, audio and video transcription, linguistic annotation, attention to detail.
• Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
• Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu, including strong command of regional dialects and contemporary usage.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic annotation projects, particularly in Urdu.
• Expert attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free transcriptions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and explanations.
