Remote Data Science Specialist — AI Research & Domain Evaluation

ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Data Science Specialist — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($150 - $350/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in Microsoft PowerPoint, Slide Reconstruction, Presentation Design, Data Visualization with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Reconstruct, redesign, and enhance data-driven presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to ensure clarity and visual consistency.
• Create compelling visualizations that transform complex data into insights, supporting effective visual storytelling across various audiences.
• Edit content for accuracy, flow, and narrative impact while maintaining high standards of written communication.
• Apply advanced data analysis and statistical reasoning to interpret datasets and derive actionable conclusions for presentation materials.
• Develop analytics reports that summarize key findings, trends, and recommendations with precision and attention to detail.
• Critically review and refine existing slides and reports to align with best practices in data visualization and design.
• Collaborate on feedback cycles to iteratively improve deliverables based on project-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in Microsoft PowerPoint, Slide Reconstruction, Presentation Design, Data Visualization.
• Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
• Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong portfolio demonstrating slide reconstruction and advanced presentation design.
• Proven ability to distill and visualize complex datasets into accessible, business-oriented insights.
• Practical background using content editing, data storytelling, and producing analytics reports for diverse stakeholders.
• Keen critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail in both quantitative and qualitative tasks.
• Strong written communication abilities, with a track record of crafting clear, concise, and engaging narratives.
