Role Overview & Full Requirements
We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Junior Data Scientist — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($150 - $200/hour, 100% remote) to join ZR Talent Group. Contributors in this role draw upon real-world mastery of Python, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Analysis to evaluate AI-generated deliverables, construct detailed grading rubrics, and guide post-training model alignment.
Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Evaluate AI model outputs on data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems
- Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions
- Identify flawed methodology, statistical errors, and weak quantitative reasoning
- Provide structured feedback that improves model capability
Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria
- Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in Python, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Analysis.
- Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
- Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.
Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes
- At least one year of experience working at a top company (tech, finance, or research), with at least part of this experience within the past 3 years
- Based in an English-speaking country
- Clear written communication of technical and statistical concepts
Compensation, Remote Eligibility & Schedule
- Compensation Band: $150 - $200/hour
