Role Overview & Full Requirements
ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Principal Software Architect & Code Evaluation Lead — AI Systems ($245 - $280/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in System Design, Code Review, Debugging, Algorithms with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.
Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Assess and benchmark model-generated code for correctness, quality, and design
- Write challenging coding problems, reference solutions, and test cases
- Review model reasoning on architecture, debugging, and system design
- Provide detailed technical feedback to improve model performance
Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria
- Demonstrated professional or advanced academic background in System Design, Code Review, Debugging, Algorithms.
- Strong analytical writing and critical evaluation skills in English.
- Self-directed work ethic suited for an asynchronous, 100% remote research environment.
Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes
- At least one year of experience as a software engineer at a top technology company, with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years
- Based in an English-speaking country
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly in writing

- Compensation Band: $245 - $280/hour
