ZR Talent Group has an active remote opening for a Remote Mechanical Engineering Expert (MSc. or PhD) — AI Research & Domain Evaluation ($60 - $120/hour). This flexible work-from-home role pairs experienced practitioners in Python, Mechanical Engineering with leading machine learning laboratories to author high-difficulty prompts, verify factual and technical rigor, and refine multi-step reasoning outputs.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Solve and validate mechanical-engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, testing, or R&D.
• Translate physical systems and engineering requirements into analytical or computational models.
• Create or modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, contacts, constraints, and solver inputs.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• An MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; or
• Strong understanding of applied mechanics and mechanical-engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based engineering solutions.
• Practical proficiency with coding agents.
