Remote Junior Transactional Attorney — AI Research & Domain Evaluation

ZR Talent Group is recruiting a qualified Remote Junior Transactional Attorney — AI Research & Domain Evaluation for a 100% remote contract opportunity ($70 - $90/hour) open to candidates across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa. In this specialist engagement, you will collaborate with advanced AI research teams to design domain-specific evaluation scenarios, audit complex model reasoning, and establish gold-standard reference solutions in Contract Redlining, Contract Negotiation, Contract Drafting, MSAs.

Prior experience building machine learning systems is not required—our research partners value authentic practitioner judgment, domain rigor, and clear analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
• Apply objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Required Qualifications & Technical Criteria

• 1–3 years of experience (in-house or law firm) focused on transactional work, with exposure to agreements such as MSAs and NDAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal knowledge into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience & Bonus Attributes

• Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
• Experience or internship at a corporate law firm, ideally touching M&A or fund formation work.
